The Pixi Skin Product That Leaves Your Skin Glowing
I'm a bit of a sucker for trying new products especially when there is rose gold packaging involved. After reading Pretty Honest by Sali Hughes (a must read for beauty lovers) I knew there was definitely something missing from my skincare routine. Sali talks about the importance of using different ingredients and getting the best out of the products for your skin type. Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) popped up a few times and I was really intrigued to find a product that contained it and to see what it could do for my skin. I know, I too was scared about putting something on my face that included the word acid! Don't be scared though as I promise you it might just be your new favourite secret ingredient. After a little scan of the internet to find which products contain AHA, say hello to Pixi Glow Tonic. It claims to even out skintone and gently exfoliate to reveal glowing skin.
After cleansing, the glow tonic is to be applied using a cotton pad, sweeping over your face, neck and décolletage. Instantly refreshing, this is a lovely way to prepare your skin for moisturiser. Surprisingly after just a week of use I saw such a difference in my skin tone and knew this product was going to be a must have in my skincare collection for years to come. Pores had shrunk in size, skintone looked clearer and skin was glowing just as I had hoped for. I felt so much happier without foundation on and felt I could even brave it and just wear a light tinted moisturiser. How little changes can make you feel so much better!
Pixi Glow Tonic is recommended to be used morning and night until you reach your desired outcome. You should see a change in brighter skintone, smaller pores and diminishing imperfections. Once reached only use once or twice a week. Be sure not to overuse this product as it can be quite drying if used too much. I wouldn't recommend for those of you with extra sensitive skin or eczema as it may be that little bit too harsh.
Unfortunately it isn't the cheapest skin product around but it's definitely worth those extra pennies. Let me know if you give it a try!
